Between March 8 and March 30, 2010 I ran 500 miles solo across Germany enduring snowstorms, strong winds, heavy rains, and other challenging conditions along a winding course through the heart of Germany.

Over 22,000 school children from 9 countries virtually ran with me, logging 106,132 miles during the 21-day journey. The run included zero degree temps, howling winds, and snowstorms in Bavaria bringing me near hypothermia.
