Between April 20 and May 12, 2009 I ran 500 miles solo through Alaska. I began in Alaska's capital city, Juneau, and ran through such locations as Anchorage, Valdez, Denali National Park, North Pole, and Delta Junction.

Over 22,000 school children from 10 countries virtually ran with me, logging over 118,000 miles during the 18-day journey After completing the run I created a non-profit foundation called The P.A.C.E. Fitness Foundation (P.A.C.E. being Promoting Active Children Everywhere).
